An excellent Mexican cuisine with plenty of options for vegetarian and vegan folks. Right from the get go of their chips and salsa sampler to every dish we ordered was so yummy and plentiful. This is an excellent place for anyone who loves Mexican food. A very simple ambience nothing to mention, but the service is awesome and great many people that care and serve you. They patiently answered our questions, made very good suggestions and the result is we all loved the food.

We visited for dinner as a party of 3 (2 adults and a toddler). For drinks we got the Purple People Eater (cocktail) and La Loma Lindo (mocktail). Both we very basic and pretty disappointing tbh, there was barely any alcohol in it. We also got the Shiny Ribs and Papas Rellenas for appetizers. Both were extremely good and I highly recommend it. We went on a Saturday so I got the Barbacoa Taco (deal of the day?), Thunder Rosa Taco, Too Hot to Tot (veg taco) and Grilled Chicken (kids meal). For dessert we got the chocolate pistachio Bundt Cake. Overall, our food was excellent and service was great.! Drinks were disappointing tbh. Upon seating, we got served a basket of chips, and we ordered guacamole with it, it was a bit spicy and perfect!

Had an amazing dinner at Eldorado Cafe in Austin! The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the corn ribs, which were bursting with flavor, and the Mole Enchiladas were rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced, easily one of the best I’ve had. We also tried two mocktails, a mango one and a tamarind one, and both were incredibly refreshing and so well made. Honestly, they were just as memorable as the food. A huge shoutout to our waitress Claudia, she was truly awesome! Every recommendation we ordered was suggested by her, and she absolutely nailed it. Super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, she made the whole experience even better. Loved everything about this place and would highly recommend Eldorado Cafe to anyone visiting or living in Austin. Can’t wait to come back!

On the recommendation of friends we gave ElDorado Cafe a try. Be prepared for a wait. We waited outside and enjoyed chips, salsa and beverages. Once seated our waiter promptly took our drink & food order. We ordered Dart Bowl enchiladas and Rene's Awesome enchiladas. Both were good. Sadly the Sopapilla Cheesecake was sold out. The restaurant is small, is nice and has an Austin electic vibe. The staff were nice and attentive. There is first come bar seating. Overall good food, good service, but a long wait (we were a party of 2, waited over an hour and a half for a table). Their site does have a reserve a table option. If you have the time, are craving some solid Mexican food, and good adult or mocktail beverages give them a try.

Eldorado Cafe definitely lives up to the hype! The food was super fresh and full of flavor. The tortilla chips were amazing, and the Eldorado Salsa Sampler was a hit — especially the Molcajete Verde, Mera Mera Salsa, and the spicy El Scorpio! We tried the Enchiladas Suizas, Enchiladas Classicas, Lost Amis Bowls, and the Flan — everything tasted great. I loved that the enchiladas weren’t overly cheesy or heavy. Even though the wait was long, they had outdoor seating where we could relax and enjoy drinks. I’d highly recommend making a reservation. Also a great spot for vegetarian and vegan options — plenty to enjoy! Highly recommend overall!

Eldorado Café never disappoints — the food is absolutely delicious every single time! From their flavorful dishes to their warm, welcoming atmosphere, you can tell they put heart into everything they do. Even more impressive than their tasty food is their generosity. For two years in a row, Eldorado Café has given back to Padron Elementary School, supporting our students and staff in such a meaningful way. It’s amazing to see a local restaurant that not only serves great meals but also invests in its community. Thank you, Eldorado Café, for filling our bellies and our hearts!

Holy smokes this place is so great! So so glad we made it our supper club stop tonight. Our 1 hour 10 wait was only 45 minutes. I had to go with the nostalgia dart bowl enchiladas (RIP Dart Bowl) and the Purple people eater. 10/10 love love love! Must try!

Very chill vibe. Authentic Tex mex. Drinks are average but food is good. Nice place to hang out with friends. The service is nice and the servers are very friendly. They make sure that the guests are comfortable and the orders are served as fast as possible. Interiors are nice and has a very Texan country vibe. They also have a few tables outside where you can wait and order drinks to start with. Overall this is a nice restaurant. This was my third time here.
